First Month Awards Leaders
The first month of the 2012 MLB season has concluded. That allows many baseball fans, analysts, reporters, and myself to make their picks for early leading candidates for the 2012 awards. There are two awards that are easy picks, and I bet you already know which ones they are and who leads in that category as you read this. The first month of baseball was exciting and saw many surprises like, the Washington Nationals and Los Angeles Dodger leading their respective divisions, the NL East and NL West. Then their is Nationals and Los Angeles Angels phenom prospects Bryce Harper and Mike Trout both being called up on the same day, on April 28th. Then their was April 21st, and the Boston Redsox blowing a 9-0 lead at home against the hated New York Yankees, and going onto lose 15-9. Finally, there was Whitesox pitcher Philip Humber tossing a perfect game against the Seattle Mariners on the same exact day as that Redsox blowup. There were lots of wow moments in April. So now it is time for my first month awards leaders.
