2012 NFL Season Predictions

The NFL preseason has ended and we are three days away from the very first regular season game on Wednesday night, when the defending Super Bowl champions, the New York Giants, host their division rivals, the Dallas Cowboys. Then the rest of the action resumes on next Sunday with key match ups being the new look Indianapolis Colts, led by new rookie quarterback, Andrew Luck, visiting the new look Chicago Bears. Robert Griffin III leads the Washington Redskins to New Orleans to take on the Sean Payton-less Saints. Tom Brady and the defending AFC champion New England Patriots visit new young gun starting QB Jake Locker and the Tennessee Titans. The Atlanta Falcons go to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs who get back Jamaal Charles, Eric Berry, and Tony Moeaki. And of the three 4:00 pm games on opening Sunday, the premiere one is the Green Bay Packers hosting the San Francisco 49ers, who had the number one defense last year and have added a few receivers of notice, Randy Moss and Mario Manningham.

On Sunday night football, Peyton Manning and his new team, the Denver Broncos, host the Pittsburgh Steelers, in Manning’s first game without the Colts and his first home game with the Broncos. Finally, a Monday night football doubleheader will showcase the young Cincinnati Bengals visiting the Baltimore Ravens, which should be a great game, and the second game is the Oakland Raiders welcoming the San Diego Chargers to the black hole.
